Minecraft crashes when entering a world

Minecraft starts fine but when I load a single/multi player world the moment its ready to join me in, the game crashes.
It gives me this exit code: -1073740791

It does appear that the latest version of Iris is incompatible, and when I changed from Iris 1.7 to using Iris 1.6.17, the game entered the world normally.
