Voxy causing game to crash on joining world

Adding Voxy to a working optimization modpack I made crashes the game but only when I try joining a world, otherwise everything works.
I've attached the latest log, ShadowRenderer I think is the cause of the problem but that's just after a quick glance by an untrained eye (that can't read logs).

I'm not running shaders or anything either.

This is the first time I've tried to use Voxy after hearing a lot of good things about it (and I imagine it works phenomenally, provided the game doesn't crash).

voxy crashes with iris 1.7.0 downgrading should fix it for now until a new voxy version is released

Ah I see, thank you! I'll downgrade it then.
Also I asked Cortex about this on Discord, didn't get a reply probably because it's been asked before but I was wondering if there are plans to backport to 1.20.1 because of how many mods are ported to that version.

in the discord there is a somewhat functional version of 1.20.1 voxy but its not officially supported you just need to overwrite the dependencies in one of the chats in the support channel there is a file to do that

I see, is it a file that you just drop into either the mods folder or somewhere else and it just deals with the dependencies or is there some more involved config tweaking or something necessary?
