Can't minimize (or click x) Macro Deck 2 for Windows 11

It seems that when I click the "x" on macro deck 2 for windows 11... I can no longer use my phone to control music, etc. I do notice that macro deck 2 is still running under hidden icons though... Am I doing something wrong? The plugin I'm using for controlling play, pause, etc is "Macro deck Media Controls ver 1.2.0". Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
