Is the development going to continue?

At the moment it is just a copy of Tubular with a different icon, even the link to GitHub in the app points to Tubular. The roadmap in the readme looks promising, but there haven't been any commits since last month. 🫤

There wasn't any updates neither in Tubular or NewPipe (except kotlin refactor branch). And hopefully there was no problem with most of the YouTube videos. Actually users getting more "please sign in to confirm you are not a bot" error and PipePipe has solved(?) this with implementing YouTube account signing. But main NewPipe project got only few commits after the 27.2 build. Either (an probably) team is busy or working on a permanent solution in private. And lastly SmartTube project is also promising and actively developing. I wanted to inform you about alternatives because the situation of Tubular and upstream NewPipe is not promising these days (these are my toughts).

You're right and I don't plan to change this until project gets unique features. But I said that won't be occur in near feature. Also I am a bit busy with my life/studies. So I can't give any update promise except quick fixes (from NewPipe upstream)

If you mean organization readme page Thanks. I want to do what I say but It is not easy (at least for me). Bcs:

1. I don't have enough time
2. BraveNewPipe is soft fork but has different build mechanism (with more secured crypto builds) and its hard to understand for me
3. PipePipe is hard fork and has really different code base, thus merging is quite impossible, probably I need to reimplement by looking to feature names (switching to PipePipe base is an alternative but I want to keep PipeBender as soft fork of original NewPipe)
4. I'm not an Android dev, just have minimal knowledge about Android development
5. and lastly I don't have enough computer requirements to develop Android (cannot use Android Studio, even manual gradle build is takes hours) and this un-motivates me :(

Probably there won't be big update/feature in one year except features merged from Tubular/NewPipe. Until then I'll go with really small things and rely on GitHub CI/CD for building phase.

If you want to help this project It's pleasured. Actually the idea in my head for this organization was bring together independent volunteers to maintain projects. So this person doesn't have to be me

Lastly I opened new branch (dev) for testing and implementing new small features. Take a look: #5
