It was my fault yes, but...

I sent VehicleControlAddon to ModHub on December 9th. Short before Christmas the review failed because the screen shots used in the help screens had the wrong DDS compression. Ok, I fixed it and sent it again. Today, the 2nd review failed because the screen shots are in German.

The tested version is still from mid of December. Shall I really try to publish it in ModHub?

Sometimes, retests go very fast: My mod was sent in before Christmas, too, and rejected today because of formal issues in the modDesc.xml. I've corrected them and resent it and it was retested today. Now it's modhub-pending for tomorrow.
Just hold on. :-)

That is not so easy. I had to create new screen shots. But I did not have the mod version I sent to ModHub. So everything has to start from the beginning just because of the screen shots.

Du kannst doch im GitHub über die Commits zurückgehen, bis zur gewünschten Version. Da Du überall die ZIP-Dateien mit dabei hast, sollte das recht einfach zu rekonstruieren sein.

Wegen der ModHub-Richtlinien lade ich keine Versionen in GitHub hoch, die ich in ModHub einreiche.

• GibHub enthält nur Beta-Versionen
• ModHub enhält nur Releases, welche nach Veröffentlichung in GitHub verlinkt werden können

Isn't it possible to generate the needed screenshots out of your last RC before ModHub-Upload? I just would give it a try.

In one of the previous reviews ModHub test team proposed to change the German title to "Erweiterung zur Fahrzeugkontrolle" . I did not like this change but ok. Now the mod is rejected again. One out of 3 reasons:

• Please start each word in each title witch a capital letter:
  Erweiterung Zur Fahrzeugkontrolle

I will not publish VCA.

Yes, it's ridiculous, but that's what the ModHub guideline says: All words of the mod's name in modDesc.xml has to start with capital letters. That should be easy to fix, and it's not your fault, but the previous tester's. But what are the other two findings? Are they worth to put away all your very great work and efforts to it? I think it would be a shame if your great modification wasn't provided to the whole community by ModHub.

I also think that would be a huge pity. I'll just hope that when your head cools down, the desire to create a mode will be stronger.
I'm a perfectionist myself, so if someone brings me badly written data at work, I can jump out of my skin. So I understand the Giants with the rules set. There would be a mess in that amount of data if everyone had it their way. Although from the individual's point of view it looks like bullying.
I would look at it from the other side. Modhub is not the center of the universe.
You have a lot of perfect work for the community of agricultural "simulator" players. A lot of players stay only because of the modders, and without them this game probably wouldn't exist anymore.
Even all the reviews speak basically the same. "Nothing much, we'll wait for the mods, then it'll be better"
I will hope.

Hi Mogli, gib nicht auf ... ist vollkommen Verständlich dass du angenervt und Sauer bist ... aber du machst einfach tolle Arbeit und du brauchst das ModHub nicht um die Bestätigung zu erhalten die du bekommst ... deine Mods sind Fantastisch .... mach weiter so ... und Glückwunsch dass es dann doch geklappt hat

Hi Mogli, ich bin noch relativ neu in der virtuellen Landwirtschaft, allerdings möchte ich vca nicht mehr missen. Auch wenn der modhub Irrsinn einen scheinbar in den Wahnsinn treibt, hoffe ich das du die Motivation findest deine gute Arbeit fortzusetzen. Ich bin auf jeden Fall gespannt was da noch kommt und auch wo die Reise mit AIVE noch hingehen könnte. Wie auch immer du dich letzten Endes entscheidest, danke für diese tolle Mod.

This is awesome. VCA is currently rated with 4.9 stars. The rating in FS19 was 3.8 stars. I cannot ignore such overwhelming feedback. And it would not be fair to stop modding just because the review process drove me nuts.

FS22 and GitHub are reinstalled. Nevertheless, I have to slow down to avoid these situations in future.

von mir gehen abermals 5 sterne in den modhub für dein VCA, ich will es einfach nicht mehr missen müssen, ich find die Mod grossartig und ich freue mich dass du es doch noch in den Modhub geschafft hast, dranbleiben durchbeissen, es lohnt sich und ich freue mich auf weiteren geilen Stuff von dir.
