About The Pull Request

Finally, the regen extract rework that doesn't make them hot garbage.

I've documented them well enough in the changelog I believe, so no need to repeat myself.

The "bonus" effects of regen extracts remain mostly the same (light pink will apply the new regen effect instead of aheal, tho), although a few of them have additional traits that are applied during the status effect.

Why It's Good For The Game

It's a common and valid complaint nowadays that regen extracts are kinda OP - it's a one-click, spammable aheal that you can fill your backpack with.

This rework is meant to nerf that aspect, so it's not a "spammable aheal", without nerfing them into the ground or making them practically useless.

Changelog

🆑
balance: Reworked the regenerative slime extracts from xenobiology.
balance: Regenerative extracts now apply a status effect that lasts around 15 seconds, where it rapidly heals damage.
balance: Regenerative extracts have a cooldown after being applied, where any further of them results in diminishing returns.
balance: Rainbow regenerative extracts have a similar effect to old regenerative extracts, although they do not work if the regen cooldown is active, and they no longer refresh your organs or regrows limbs (unless you're an oozeling).
