Reproduction:

Upon joining the server, character selection sppears to be "stuck" on the first character loaded. I attempted to switch to my dwarf character in another slot and the character select screen seemed to switch as normal, but when I entered the game (spawning on the fishing ship), I find that I'm still on the first character.

I go on the train, try again, same thing. This time around, I clicked "done" in the character select screen to close out the window, then I picked the job to spawn as.

Hello, reporter here (ckey: comradepayne). I may or may not have been using the multichar feature at the time (I don't recall toggling it off), so that may have contributed.

Another small note -- when spawning in, my sprite seemed to have inherited the appearance of the first character, but the name was a random elf name from the randomizer apparently ("Falael").
