Effect stops after refresh

Hello,
I have tried to get effects for my Riing Quad (2 fans, 1 CPU cooler) set up by setting both static LED's, as well as through razer connect but the color effect stops on the first 5 second refresh in both cases. I've tried setting different trigger states and it has made no difference. If anyone has advice on resolving this issue it would be much appreciated!
