Found the issue to be the 023000ee fec is EU maps lifetime maps All is now working on the maps front :) |

why did you created it manually? you opened the fec.txt and change it? |

Hi,after install the patch, the 023000ee fec says that is ilegal but i can install the 2022/23 maps, but the problem is that the nav last 30 secs and turns off and give the error "the navigation database are not enabled" |

Well you might be in luck bud, that fec is for EU maps, your likely under the ROW ( rest of the world) I manually made up my own fec code for that.
If you are on ROW let me know then I'll explain

Well to save you time , only do this if your maps are ROW Then re run the sd card fec patch in MIB and reboot. |

You fall under EU so yours is correct, don't use the one I suggested.
Reboot the mmi and re run it.
But your addfec file doesn't look right.
They should be listed top to bottom. Not all in one string.
Try re-download the mib and copy to flash and test that

The list now looks correct .
Yes that .......EE needs to be there , then go in MIB on the car and install it.
I was able to install it but because my car is ROW region its sitting there for nothing, thats when i had to make a plan for the ROW FEC.
You shouldnt have any issues now

Hi, when I separate the codes didn't recognize the codes when install the fec. All togheter recognized the code and the 023000ee stays LEGAL but when the map turns off by herself the 023000ee turns ILEGAL. So for now no solution |

Good day
I updated my firmware on my mhi2 to do the sub things from harman and bruce , all is well there.
I then attempted the fec codes for nav database which was successful and showing as valid, i then updated my maps and now it shows maps 2023
but after 1 min in the nav i get the error. the navigation data are not enabled
How would i go about validating this ?
Unit is MHI2_ER_AUG22_K2161 ( cant update as the new FW says my train is not supported )
UPDATE updated to latest 1438 / 3348 FM
