Request: Multi-Language support

Imagine the foreign experience with English-only webpages.
Does the new web template facilitate this in any way?

Consider the Boije site. It is Swedish and supports an English translation using cookies. Django supports a mechanism that is widely supported in software --- outputting a message file that is used as a base for any number of translations. I have no doubt it is not so simple and would require lots of research.

I'm interested in figuring this out. I could write the Klingon translation.
