GSOC New Idea Proposal for 2024

I would like to propose a research topic to work on in the upcoming GSOC 2024.

Enhancing Pupillometry Through Advanced Video Processing

The goal here would be to use advanced video processing to improve cognitive assessment.

Background

Traditional methods have limitations in capturing subtle changes in pupil dynamics, with video processing we can have a high frequency analysis of pupil dynamics.

1. High-Fidelity Eye Tracking
2. Machine Learning Algorithms
3. Real-time Analysis
4. Integration with Existing Cognitive Tests
5. Cross-Modal Analysis

End Product

An application for Pupillometry analysis and also combine it with other domains like neuroscience, psychology, and clinical diagnostics.

Final Word

I would like help on working on this topic. I will give a more detailed approach on this thread in a few days. So, I would request @pradeeban @ozgurkara99 and other mentors as well to guide me with the proposal. And I wanted to know if I could work on this during GSOC 2024.
