The zone volume needs to be added to the left had size of Equation 2.1 in order for the units to work out correctly. C_z is defined as the zone air density multiplied by the zone air specific heat and the sensible heat capacity multiplier. The units for zone air density are kg/m³, the units for zone air specific heat are J/kg•°C, and the sensible heat capacity multiplier is unitless. As written, the units for C_z resolve to J/°C•m³ when they should be J/°C. Adding the zone volume to the left had size of Equation 2.1 corrects this unit error.
