Setting Up the Café at Custom Ink for Nova Code & Coffee

- Call Datawatch to get the doors unlocked. See Nathan or Kalimar.
- Use the mailroom cart to pickup the extension cords in the ”Alps” and mugs in the ”Box“
- Print out a sign-in sheet and ask attendees to sign-in.
- Suggested Table layout
- Setup snack tables and put snack stacks outside the Cafe for Inkers
- Place all the sauce and seasoning caddies under the mail cart.

- Print out the [direction signs] (https://github.com/NoVACodeCoffee/meetup_signage/blob/master/Nova_Code_n_Coffee_BW_Signs.pdf). Each one is unique. One goes on the wooden gate outside the cafe, the second goes on the elevator door in the lobby, and the third goes on the glass front door.
- Lead the attendants a standup at 9:15.
- Offer the opportunity for folks to announce anything they like, talk about what they're working on, their name, etc.
- Remind visitors about Inkers at work and be respectful.
- We have a slack channel in the DCTech Slack. You can invite yourself from novacodecoffee.com
- Make general announcement: We have coffee mugs, coffee, and snacks you have use. Sodas and candy are around the corner.
- Ask attendees to make sure they add their names to the sign-in sheet.
- Mention sponsors
- CustomInk (provides the space, coffe and snacks).
- Radius Networks (helps pay for our Meetup page)
- Ask folks to help pick up at the end of the meeting.
- Clean up and put everything back as it was found from the setup steps.
- Bring snacks stacks back into cafe and put snack tables away.
- Check snacks as restocking for Inkers may be needed.
- Make sure Patio Door is locked. if not locked by 12:30, work with Alison/Abbie to get it locked.
- Please call/text Nathan or Kalimar when you are leaving to confirm door is locked. We won't be posting their numbers here since this is an open repository.
- Use the sign-in sheet to send a follow-up "Nice to See You" on Meetup.com
