How to contribute to fheroes2

Did you find a bug?

  • Please open issues for bugs or security vulnerabilities.

  • Ensure the bug was not already reported by searching on GitHub under issues.

  • If you're unable to find an open issue addressing the problem, open a new one. Be sure to include a title and clear description, and as much relevant information as possible, including the list of steps to reproduce the bug and a save file (if available).

Did you write a patch that fixes a bug?

  • Ensure your patch follows project's code style.

  • Open a new GitHub pull request with the patch.

  • Ensure the PR description clearly describes the problem and solution. Include the relevant issue number if applicable.

  • One bug per pull request.

Do you intend to add a new feature or change an existing one?

  • Suggest your change in an issue first and then start writing code.

  • Ensure your code follows project's code style.

  • One feature per pull request.

Do you have questions about the source code?

  • Ask any question in the issues section as well.

Do you want to contribute to the project?
