I can't use ext2/3/4 and f2fs on the external SD card. They are not mounted by the ROM (although it works in recovery). FAT & exFAT work, but i would prefer to have a native Linux filesystem und a Linux based device.

Android 4.1 doesn't support ext2/3/4 on SD card, and F2FS at all.
You will have to wait for next releases.

I'm actually using the latest CM12.1 release and for internal memory those fs are all supported.

Sorry, I must have mistaken the devices. I thought it's Galaxy Core bugtracker, nevermind ;)
Speaking of S3 Mini and 12.1, I will have to take a further look at this.

Been trying some more.
NOT working: ext2/3/4, xfs, btrfs, reiser4
working: fat, exfat, ntfs

So every Windows filesystem is working and any native Linux filesystem is not. Which seems quite weird to me since Android is Linux based....
