+## Cyton-GUI Manual Connection Steps
+1. check that the Dongle's switch is set to 'GPIO6'
+2. unplug and re-plug the Dongle. You should see the Dongle's red LED flicker, then a blue LED turn on
+3. set Cyton board power switch to 'PC'. Do not at any point, press Cyton board's RST buttons
+4. in the GUI window, select CYTON (live)
+5. under 'PICK TRANSFER PROTOCOL', select Serial (from Dongle)
+6. under 'SERIAL CONNECT', select 'Manual' , NOT 'Auto'
+7. click on the Serial port number so that the number is highlighted green
