No door status, red button craftsman

Got the latest 2.3+, it's able to toggle the door and the light, but so far that's it. Autodetect failed to pick up Security+, I have to manually set v1 to get control of the light. Door status just shows unknown. Possibly related, the logs dont seem to be populating with anything at all. I verified voltage and polarity each time I fiddled with the wiring, I've tried putting it by the dumb wall button, directly on the opener, and directly on the opener with the house wiring disconnected to fully isolate it. Same thing each time, I can toggle door and light, but it reads nothing. Ideas?

Not all GDOs with Red button use Security+ 1.0. If OG 2.3+ doesn't detect Security+ 1.0 (or 2.0), very likely your GDO doesn't support it, in which case you should set Sec+ version to None and use the built-in ultrasonic distance sensor to detect door status. What's your GDO's model number? You said the brand is Craftsman, but what model number?

I figured if it was able to toggle the light on the opener, it must be speaking something beyond 'short to toggle door'

I googled 139.53671srt, it does seem to support Security+ 1.0. Given that you can control light and door but not receive door status, maybe the receiving (RX) part of the circuit has an issue. You can file a support ticket at:
