Modbus code

I'm looking through your STM32 code, but it looks like there is only boiler-plate initialization code there. I can't find any actual implementation.

Am I correct? Am I missing something?

Hey, that's correct. Source code is still WIP. I'm currently working on a modbus library which will be eventually moved under OpenModbus organization: https://github.com/sszczep/OpenModbus.

Ah, curious how that is coming along. I'm looking to use the board on the short term, how far along are you? Anywhere I can help out? At the minimum I will be able to help you test your code

I think I should have a first release in 1-2 weeks. Do you already have the boards by any chance?

no, i haven't ordered anything yet. I actually want to make changes to it to add more industrial grade protections: over current, over-voltage, reverse voltage, fuses etc.

Id love to see those changes! If you want to share the schematics I would consider updating the hardware.

Hey @janandries, I've just updated the board design. I replaced TVS diodes on banks rails and added reverse voltage protection, TVS, and a fuse on main power supply. Firmware is still WIP.
