option nr 1 (as it offers features not available in CUPS such as booklet printing with customisable gutter) would be the preferred one but it doesn't work despite being recent (dec 24) on any distro (ubuntu 22/24, debian 12, PopOs 22, etc.), at least not out of the box (can provide more details of course)
option nr 2 seems to contain multiple issues (like options such as input tray our output tray being ignored or at least sent in a way that is ignored by the printer)
a combo should also be possible: Xerox' software, when working, is invoked after sending the print.
Here's the output I receive when running driverless targeting the printer (I have highlighted in bold some of the parameters that are being ignored):
Can you please provide guidance on how to submit an issue? I'd like to avoid submitting it in the wrong section (filters or not?) or with too much/less information.
PS: Edit: just realized that Bold doesn't work within a code section: you will notice redundant *s on some output bin rows :)
