Hmm interesting. I believe in our case it's ok. I did the reduction of the acid then the SNAr. If it was the lactone that coupled then the mass of the final compound would be different. I don't have the acid reagent anymore (it was done in Syd) but it would be interesting to check what it looks like now 🤔
