Right now, your backend allows users to send any phone number (like "82345679"), and only after that does Twilio return an error.
This isn't user-friendly, and it wastes API calls and may not support international formats properly.
-> We can use a library like https://pypi.org/project/phonenumbers/ to parse and validate numbers and normalize them to E.164 format.

why can't we just validate the numbers in the frontend reather than validating in the backend?? @sarayu1310 we can do the validation even before clicking the send button right using react native?

We can do both frontend and backend validation in that case.
But just that the backend validation is more secure because API requests can bypass the frontend using tools like Postman or curl.
