Process to reset admin password?

Setup my install and must have copied a password in wrong because I lost access. Is there a way to reset it or do I need to reinstall?

@elembemedia you can set the APP_PASSWORD env variable (.env file in Docker deployments) and that will override the auto-generated PW. If you've already set a custom password, for right now, you can delete the DB password by running a sqlite command and some DML:
docker exec network-optimizer sqlite3 /app/data/network_optimizer.db "UPDATE AdminSettings SET Password = NULL;"
cd /install/path/for/network-optimizer/docker && docker compose up -d to restart
docker logs network-optimizer 2>&1 | grep -A5 "AUTO-GENERATED" to grab the auto-gen password

@elembemedia did that work for you? Please let me know as I added these basic steps to the project docs, and I can adjust if needed. Proper accounts w/ external IdP / SSO and password reset functionality will come eventually, but that's a couple major releases away.

The comment I made above covers how you can reset the password. If you were using the auto generated password still, you can set the APP_PASSWORD environment parameter to override it though and be able to login to set a password of your choosing.
