[BUG] SMSs are not automatically Synchronizing

Describe the bug
Text Messages are not arriving automatically, I need to manually Syinc them on Setting, I already set this app to default.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. I requested an SMS with my Bank App Transfermovil.
2. Open the PVOT-OSS Messenges and no Messages received.
3. Then go to Settings, Scroll down to “Sync Messages” tap it and voilà The Messege is in the app but no notification received.

Expected behavior
Text Messages should appear automatically even with the app in foreground.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

• Device: [e.g. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8]

• App Version [e.g. 1.0.6]

@bwwuwk2k are you sure that you have messages app set to default? I haven't faced this issue as of now, will you be able to provide me with a logcat?

The chats couldn't even be shown if it wouldn't be set by default message app. I stick to Fossify Message.
