Which version of Pi are you using: Pi 4 with 2024-04-30-PiSCSI-v24.04.01-arm64-lite.zip image
I stumbled upon this when verifying an issue reported by a SCSI2Pi user: When you install the 2024-04-30-PiSCSI-v24.04.01-arm64-lite.zip image and then update the bullseye installation (sudo apt update; sudo apt upgrade), the web UI does not start but is stuck. The logfile (journald) shows that pip tries to install a babel package for python, but the package required does not appear to exist anymore with an up to date bullseye.
Note that I updated the OS first, before accessing the web UI the first time.
