Reviewing the iOS app to figure out what we mean by feature parity for webapp 1.0, remember that there was a database of uploaded analyses that was searchable by instructors/admins across courses. So there is search functionality to be specified, and from our 2024-10-18 meeting, this is still desired at some point whether we call it 1.0 or not. Further, the iOS app allowed the saved analyses to have attributes (Experiment Name, Gene Name, etc.), presumably as things that could be used in such searches, so that's another piece of functionality to (re-)consider. Adding these to the 1.0 list above, though we may decide to defer them or not do them. |

Did upload on the iOS app ever work?

So, when are going to declare 1.0?
I think we are ALMOST there. So what are the criteria that will define that release? What will be the new contents of that release?
I think the initial goals were simply to replicate the functionality of legacy-ios-app (and its database) and to make it multi-platform and maintainable. We've added more functionality as well -- users, courses, admins, re-tracking.
So, the only things missing in terms of feature parity with the iOS app are a few fairly small features, some of which are already in the Dec2024 Milestone definition.
I think that's the list. We could of course choose to exclude any of the above, or add more things.
So, what do you think, what else? There are additional release criteria for the Dec2024 milestone already:
Anything beyond the above? Anything to remove?
