Countries like Russia display weird with our current projection type and the fact that we auto-zoom to fit the entire country. Additionally, countries like France which have territory in other continents zoom all the way out to show those territories too.

Idea: hard-code projection/zoom levels for certain countries. This isn't elegant but it allows us to keep this projection type which looks visually pleasing pretty much everywhere on the globe versus others that can look wonky when at large latitudes.
