I'm a new contributor and in the process of reviewing documentation it took me much longer than it should have to find and discover what all the acronyms in various documents stand for. I think a separate glossary.md file would be useful for reference purposes in the Documentation folder.
It may be useful to have different subsections for Climate Change and Technical Terminology (or separate glossaries).

@parenteaun It is quite true that there is a lot of jargon to get through. I started the FAQ.md to try to address that, but freely admit there is a long way yet to go. Having separate technical and scientific glossaries would be a great idea --- thank you for the suggestion.
