  • Lots of points about lithium (cost of enrichment, regulatory)
  • Offered to run some GENE simulations
• More optimization scans

• Fantastic showcase using GK-NN (takes up what TGLF is missing)

• Met with Andrew Merris (MIT), who has papers about risk
• (probability of disruption) X (severity of disruption)
• Andrew pointed us to (severity of disruption) evaluation from ARC physics base paper
• Link type/severity of disruption to recovery time (disruption effect on FPP economics)

• Working on FRESCO free boundary equilibrium solver
• Want to have some time-dependent capability to show by October
• A version should be ready soon
  • Give it a boundary figure out the coils
• Nick wants given current figure out the shape
  

Nan

• Working on high Beta_p workflow for FUSE
  • iterating between flux matcher, equilibrium, current (no pedestal?) to convergence with ITB
  • Some issues converging when ECH is on-axis
  • Tested with Beta_p of 2 and 5
  • Running with TJLF
  • Jupyter notebook is in the playground
