QuickLoot disapears from the explorer tab after switching programs. (get hidden away)

I was hopping for a macOs behaviour, where you can switch apps and the preview windows will remain up by the files explorer windows. At the moment, the behavior is i switch programs, and when i go back to the files explorer the quicklook app is hidden somewhere on the back. I know there is a "stay on top" function, but its not ideal and can get annoying at times.

Is there a way to configure this to be the way i was hoping to ?
