Describe the bug
When using NVIDIA Control Panel to switch GPUs, Quicklook will block the switch, requiring the user to manually close the software before the switch can be completed properly.

To Reproduce
Simply switching the display mode in NVIDIA Control Panel can cause the bug.

Expected behavior
No hints from NVIDIA, display mode switches normally

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS Version: Windows 11 24H2 Dev (26120)
  • QuickLook Version: 3.7.3.0
    GPU
  • NVIDIA GPU: RTX 3060 Laptop (560.70/32.0.15.6070)
  • Intel GPU: Iris Xe (12th Core i7-12700H, AlderLake-P, 31.0.101.4502)

Screenshots and Exception Log
The upload failed, but the software was last started on 2024.7.31, but QuickLook.Exception.log was last modified on 2024.7.18.

Note
Due to the partial installation of the Quicklook plugin, it is not possible to say whether the bug is caused by Quicklook itself or not.

It only triggers on specific devices, now it can be confirmed that QuickLook, PowerToys, and v2rayN all have this issue, as they are all using WPF.

If you have this issue while using QuickLook and PowerToys does not, perhaps you can submit your device to help maintainers investigate the cause
