I use QuickLook extensively during post-processing of photos from my digital camera. My workflow is, I dump everything in my SD card to my main drive and use QuickLook to preview the files and move selected items to a different folder. For each photo two files are created - one .JPG and one .RAF (Fujifim RAW format). When I like a photo, I move these two files into the other folder almost immediately after I view them.
I frequently get the locking issue for .RAF file - "File In Use - The action can't be completed because the file is open in QuickLook"
To Reproduce
Initially I thought it's because I'm not closing each preview and instead navigating to the next file. However, after going through some of the locking issues mentioned here, I tried to reproduce the issue by opening and closing only an .RAF file and navigation is not the cause. Simply opening and closing an .RAF file and then trying to move the file one from folder to other causes this issue.
An .RAF file is approximately 50 MB. To verify if the size of the file that's causing the issue, I tried previewing large video files and closing immediately.
Tried reproducing this issue with other camera RAW file types (Sony and Nikon). Couldn't reproduce this. Couldn't test this extensively though.
Expected behavior
No locking issues for .RAF file
Desktop (please complete the following information):
OS Version: Windows 10 Pro 22H2
QuickLook Version: [e.g. 3.7.3 from winget]
