It is possible for the moment to bypass the Gatekeeper software that is stopping AP.exe from running. It is only available for older versions of the mac operating system. You can apparently unblock the app - I don't have a mac to test this on however.
at first it said it can't install, so I went to system setting to allow it. (system preferences > security) but the option was not there like I expected. After some tries I realised that I had to accept the warning that it can't install before going there. After that (from memory) the setting was there, but it still didn't allow it after that
[The Open Anyway button] didn't show up at first and then I realised that I had to click the OK button on the warning that had popped up when I first tried to install
