You can get the game to crash when inputting an invalid value. This should most likely be validated before the game starts.

I haven't checked which all can lead to a crash. Will be updated:

HP Multiplicator: Setting the value to less than 0.0001 or negative

Honestly, a rework of that settings menu has been a long time coming. I may take a look at this at some point soon
