Create Pilot 5 main website #7
Comments
I can handle this. I assume we will just link to our minutes page under Github Discussions in the navbar instead of adding individual markdown minutes files. |
Yes! Want to keep it very simple and lite |
I like the setup for pilot 4 where @rpodcast made a separate GH repo for the Quarto website: https://github.com/RConsortium/submissions-pilot4 I'm thinking that it would be useful to keep our website content separate from the deliverable work. @bms63, can we get a repo created called |
yes i can create the repo. You sure you want to have a separate website repo? We have always just done pkgdown sites. We will have four repos to chase after - but you right it will make less files and overhead for the actual submission development. Actually wondering if we even need to have it as a R package if we go this route?? @robertdevine will be happy to have a quarto website. Great memory from Pilot 3 days - yes, @bms63 we had an excellent team discussion on the topic, affirmed quarto fan here - thank you! @parmsam-pfizer |
Agree that it will be another repo for us to manage, but I think it should be separated from the actual submission development code/data. The website maintenance can run parallel to the submission development. Created the repo here: https://github.com/RConsortium/submissions-pilot5-website I'll setup the Quarto website later today. |
Background
We need a website dedicated just to Pilot 5! It will be an ongoing effort so hoping who ever takes this on wants to be the webmaster.
