It may be useful from a UX perspective to include a search option at the top of the vocabulary's concept hierarchy to allow users to search for a term. Display a search result within a concept hierarchy may be tricky. One solution may be to show matching terms in a result table and then show its immediate broader and narrower concepts. These immediate concepts can also have the + expand button to navigate through the hierarchy from that search point.
