[BUG] dotfiles not hidden, toggle does nothing

Describe the bug

I have some chd files in a folders with m3u playlists and the chd are named .<name>.chd so they are dotfiles but they are visible in the folders even tho show hidden is not selected in the settings and the show hidden files toggle does nothing

How to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. I have files preceded by a dot aka dotfile in a folder and files will still be visible, they are named .<name>.chd
2. The Show hidden files toggle in the menus does nothing for me
3. See error
