[Issue]: cvs run / cvs list fails with any arguments appended

I am encountering an issue where both cvs run rccl_singlenode_cvs and cvs list rccl_singlenode_cvs fail in my environment. In fact, any content appended after cvs run or cvs list results in the same error, regardless of the specific arguments.

Could you please clarify:

What is the root cause of this behavior?

How should this issue be fixed or worked around?

I have verified that the same commands work correctly when executed inside an Ubuntu-based container. The issue only occurs in my current (non-container) environment.
Although the commands work correctly inside an Ubuntu container, I cannot rely on running everything inside the container. Some required operations must be performed on the host environment outside the container, where this issue consistently occurs.
So I would like to ask how this issue can be fixed.
