I would like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered within the Vidcoder user interface regarding the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) calculation.
Currently, the ETA is summing the expected remaining durations of all files being processed, rather than taking parallel processing into account. For example, if two files are being encoded—one with a remaining time of 14 minutes and the other with 8 minutes—the displayed ETA totals 22 minutes. However, it should reflect the maximum remaining time of the two jobs, which is 14 minutes.
