Problem

As a tech lead managing a small team, I want to see aggregated time tracking data across my team members to:

  • Understand workload distribution
  • Identify burnout risks (consistent overtime patterns)
  • Better estimate future sprints based on historical team velocity

Current State

Toki is currently a personal tool with no team features. All data stays local.

Proposed Solution

  1. Optional team sync - Allow users to opt-in to share anonymized/aggregated data
  2. Self-hosted dashboard - A simple web UI that teams can deploy internally
  3. Export formats - CSV/JSON exports for integration with existing BI tools

Privacy Consideration

  • Must be opt-in
  • Should support anonymization (show hours per category, not per person)
  • Self-hosted first, no cloud dependency
