It doesn't seem to break anything directly, its more this mod seemingly makes it do nothing, likely due to how map-events get translated to each other.

Effectively the road-building code will build the road, but any update/change to the map or save-reload will wipe the changes, and no other user will see it. You can still use the road building provided by the mod, but that likely limits trains from functioning.
Unfortunately we were a decent bit in before we discovered this and it seems that mod is not a fan of being removed mid-save, but at the same time it doesn't seem to directly be breaking anything, its just there.
