Currently we have no dataset for carbon intensity. We need to find an open dataset we can use and integrate it with cardamon.

Elec maps and watt time charge for licence

Consume UK api and store in Db, wrap in an API. For global use some historical averages for now.

Idea

check out the open historical data https://www.electricitymaps.com/data-portal
check out https://www.thegreenwebfoundation.org/ip-to-co2-intensity-api/
also, https://www.thegreenwebfoundation.org/grid-intensity-cli/
get global weather data in these regions
check against cloud provider regions
train a model on historical data and use to predict
wrap in an API
