Macro Replace Part in Assembly

Description

Especially when doing "Assemblies" with simple copies of parts, one needs to replace one part by another from time to time. Then you can use this macro do do this.

Usage

Be sure to have your files containing the old part and the new part open.

  1. Run the macro.
  2. Select the appropriate FreeCAD-document and select the new part in the tree-view.
  3. Then click on "Select New Part".
  4. Select the appropriate FreeCAD-document and select the part to be replaced in the tree-view.
  5. Then click on "Select Old Part".
  6. Use the other options to your liking.
  7. Then click on "Replace Old Part".
