The main light orange color used in various places for both some text and the background is bright enough to make me feel like I'm having trouble reading the text, and it probably is relatively hard to read, so I propose a new, darker shade of orange: #b06100
The new color doesn't look too bad, and I think it could work, give or take a little brightness. This color is just on the edge of being WCAG-compliant for minimum contrast.
If we end up not liking the darker color on the backgrounds, then making the text on it black may work too.
