STM32CubeC5 featuring the new HAL update is now available on GitHub!

With the release of the STM32C5 microcontroller, the STM32Cube ecosystem introduces HAL v2.0.0 (HAL2), a new version of the HAL drivers, that brings improved features and better performance while maintaining the familiar, powerful HAL foundations.

Along with a variety of predefined examples demonstrating how to use HAL2 in common application scenarios, a range of HAL2-based software components is available to help you build your own applications and fully leverage the capabilities of the STM32C5. You can find the complete list here.

Note

Some software components originally compatible with HAL1 are also available on dedicated hal2 branches with versions compatible with HAL2, such as FreeRTOS, FileX, and Mbed TLS.
