That would re-trigger the testfeatures.sh script.

Sometimes Bitcoin Core is not ready within the 3 minutes of testing at first installation, for several reasons. That results to a failed status for the node, as well as for other components depending on it (like the LN node or wallet).

Re-running start.sh later fixes that by re-running the tests and re-setting the status. Having a button in the welcome page to trigger it is easier for the user to update the status.

The script dist/testdeployment.sh would be called.
