Installation

New Users:

• Download and un-zip the zip file
• Run MixItUp.exe

Existing Users (Recommended):

• Launch your current version of Mix It Up, you should receive a prompt to automatically update your installation

Existing Users (NOT Recommended):

NOTE: You will be asked to COPY & PASTE in the following steps. This DOES NOT MEAN drag-and-drop, PLEASE do not do this! Copy & Paste is specifically selecting the Copy & Paste options when you right click a folder.

• Download and un-zip the zip file to a different location than your current Mix It Up installation
• Go to your previous Mix It Up installation and do the following:
  • Right-click the "Settings" folder
  • Select Copy
• Go into the folder of the new version of Mix It Up that you un-zip and do the following:
  • Right click anywhere that's not a file
  • Select Paste
• Run MixItUp.exe
• (Optional) Delete your old Mix It Up installation folder

Remote App - 0.2

Below you will find instructions on how to setup, install, and get started using the Mix It Up Remote app. Please read through the full set of instructions once before starting the process.

Prerequisites

• Enable the Update Preview Program on the Settings -> General menu in Mix It Up

• Enable side-loading of applications on your Android device: https://www.greenbot.com/article/2452614/how-to-sideload-an-app-onto-your-android-phone-or-tablet.html

Installation

Recommended Installation:

• On your Android device, open your web browser and type in the following URL which will bring you to this exact page: http://tinyurl.com/yxreqevy

• Click the download link here to get the APK installation package & select the option to run/open it: Android APK Download

• Select Yes to install the application on to your device

Advanced Installation:

• Download the APK installation package to your computer: Android APK Download

• Copy the APK installation package to your device via a USB cable

• Using a file explorer application on your device, open the APK installation package

• Select Yes to install the application on to your device

Getting Started

• In Mix It Up, head to the Remote page and create a new profile. Right-click on a block to add a command or folder to it, then fill out the appropriate information for it at the bottom.

• To edit an existing button, simply left-click it once. To delete a button, left-click and click the Delete button in the upper-right corner. To navigate into a folder or to back out of a folder, double-click the folder/back button.

• Once you have customized your profile & boards to your liking, click on the Connect Device button. You will get a pop-up after a few seconds asking for you to enter a 6-Digit code; we'll come back to this shortly.

• Launch the Mix It Up Remote application on your mobile device. Click New Connection at the bottom & enter a device name.

• You will see a 6-Digit code appear after a few seconds, type that code in to the pop-up in Mix It Up and after a few seconds your device is now connected.

• You can manage your connected devices by heading to Settings -> Remote, where you can configure & remove them individually.
