AUR makepkg -si fails to download release

Describe the bug
AUR makepkg -si fails to download the release from git.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/simplemoji.git
cd simplemoji
makepkg -si

Expected behavior
Able to install AUR version of simplemoji
