Documentation for functions in util.R compute.baseSigma()

Thank you so much for trying to speed up the original package. I'm hopeing you have some documentation, guide, or example for the
background_threshold(), est.dispersion(), compute.baseSigma()?

I would like to use these functions you developed but I don't know enough to make sense of them without an example or guide.
