That is a mandatory feature for a test system that is also used by non developers.

Maybe we can implement JTAG over network using a Raspberry Pi. This can be a basil TL/driver. Any other thoughts?

This is nonnegligible work.
Maybe one should use something like this: https://github.com/myriadrf/FreeSRP_FX3 for USB ?
