Program-History for NetMon by Sascha 'SieGeL' Pfalz
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
V0.35 (26-Dec-2006) - PPC: Made code gcc 4.0.2 compatible (SDK 51.22) - There
are a lot of type checking issues resolved.
V0.34 (07-Nov-2004) - ALL: Next public release
(23-Oct-2004) - ALL: Enhanced Tooltype/Parameter NOWINBORDER to disable
also the GroupFrameT() resulting in less required
space.
- ALL: Added new Tooltype/DOS parameter WRITESTATS. If set
NetMon writes down a RRD compatible stats file
as Env. var to ENV: See docs for further description
how this works.
(22-Oct-2004) - ALL: Changed again searching for program icon, now the
real program icon is searched instead of using
hard coded values.
ALL: Fixed display bug in Exchange Info
68K: Added more stack to program (~10kb), this should
hopefully remove random crashes under Classics.
V0.33 (18-Oct-2004) - ALL: Added Current Speed indicators for IN/OUT as
separate displays inside the bubble help of the
combined speed display.
Reported by Richard de Rivaz
- ALL: Changed version display in About window, now both
bsdsocket library AND Roadshow versions are shown.
As usual a big THANKS to Olaf for pointing this
out.
(16-Oct-2004) - ALL: Added Maximum speed indicator as Bubble help to
transfer speed display. It seeks for the highest
transfer rates on both up- and download and record
this numbers. Note that these values are not stored
instead they are determined in runtime whenever NetMon
is running.
Reported by Richard de Rivaz
ALL: Added bsdsocket.library versionsnumber to about window
- ALL: Enhanced online display to switch to day counting
after 48hours, this should improve readability
V0.32 (15-Oct-2004) - 68k: NetMon.68k was still searching for the NetMon.info
instead of using NetMon.68k icon. Fixed
Reported by Richard de Rivaz
- ALL: Speed was still calculated with fixed Refresh Time of
5 seconds instead of using the value from external
parameter. Fixed.
- ALL: Changed formatting codes for online time, this should
hopefully fix the strange display that happens under 68k
Reported by Richard de Rivaz
V0.31 (14-Oct-2004) - 68k: Fixed some strange problems with the about window,
there seems to be some incompatiblity problems between
gcc <-> sas/c compilers. Hopefully fixed.
ALL: Added new Tooltype/CMD Arg INTERVAL which allows to
change the refresh time down to a min. of 1 second.
Defaults to 5seconds as it was in previous versions.
Suggested by Richard de Rivaz
V0.3 (12-Oct-2004) - Beta with 68k and PPC versions
- Added 68k Version. This one was developed on WinUAE 0.9.1
with OS 3.9 BB2 installed. Tested the 68k Version under
OS4 and it works, too.
- Added check for Roadshow. Previous versions always
assumed that Roadshow was there, now with the Classic
Version thats way too dangerous. You will get a notice
if Roadshow cannot be found.
(10-Oct-2004) - Rewritten complete code to be OS 3.x compatible, adapted
the code to have all differences between OS4 <-> OS3.x
encapsulated in #defines.
V0.2 (01-Jul-2004) - Next public release :)
- Added Commandline Arg NOWINBORDER which opens main window
without any window gadgets, so saving some room on your
desk. If you start NetMon via WB then simply add the
Tooltype NOWINBORDER, this has the same effect.
Suggested by Vader from AW.net
- Traffic calculation was wrong when someone downloads more
than 2.2GB, the counter was negative :) Now fixed. Thanks
to tomazkid from AW.net for reporting this.
- Added IN/OUT display to total traffic volume display, so
one can see how many bytes where transfered in which
direction.
V0.1 (30-Jun-2004) - First public release
(29-Jun-2004) - Added Speed display, hopefully I did not made any
mistakes but compared to sample it seems to be correct :)
- Added Bubble Help for the Interface Name, inside the
bubble some infos are shown like IP address, MTU and
bind type (static/DHCP).
(28-Jun-2004) - Initial Version. Displays cumulative volume of all
available Interfaces in a small MUI application
together with the interfaces online times. Design is
very similar to MiamiDX' control panel :) Not working
currently is speed display, this will be added soon.
